Check out the cake -isn't that amazing?! No sailing theme here, but the adirondack chairs are the perfect cake toppers! The pink and green theme goes so well with our 'Shellacked' seashell print.
Apparently we're a little confused here in RI, because we celebrated the 4th on July 2nd with a party and fireworks....It was a perfect New England evening - plenty of red white and blue to go around here!
Speaking of Red, White and Blue - 'Pinch Me' is the perfect patriotic print!
Melissa of 'Mix it up Fitness' loves her Tipsy Tote! And the Captain Morgan Clutch was another perfect accessory to celebrate!

This berry tart was Tipsy Skipper-ed for the Fourth. Yum!
Then it was off to the races! The Fourth of July Regatta was on one hot, hazy summer day. The fog cleared out just in time for the starting gun.
Each year Aphrodite is the Committee Boat - a beautiful antique yacht, and perfectly patriotic.
Tipsy Skipper has been having a great Summer, and it's extra special with our bright accessories! There's a print for any social occasion! Cheers to Summer!

I recently took a trip a little further down south...Think Annapolis, and all things nautical come to mind!
Just some background on the town, after the Revolutionary War, Annapolis's business shifted to small-boat harvesting of oysters, crabs, and fish from the shallow waters of Chesapeake Bay.
Today, it’s hard not to be inspired, when walking thru the town is known as the sailing capital of America and home to the U.S. Naval Academy.
Sailing is definitely a favorite pastime for Annapolis residents. Many national and international sailing events, as well as weekly regattas take place in the bay.
I immediately wished I had my Tipsy Skipper Captain Morgan Clutch in Starboard Tack! It would have fit in perfectly with the maritime atmosphere of the town.
For the rest of your summer, if you are in need of a quick getaway, there are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water in Annapolis -- schooners, sailing sloops, and cruise boats offer a variety of tours, and even Sunday brunch. Take a guided kayak tour of downtown Annapolis or paddle alone on the many creeks that feed the bay.
A particular favorite of mine as a kid was the 'Sea Gypsy' - a re-created pirate ship that offers an action-packed cruise. Kids can pretend to be pirates and defend their ship from fierce attackers by using its water cannons. A little Captain Morgan inspiration...
The Naval Academy is well worth a visit as well, and its visitor center features interactive exhibits and displays, as well as a theater showing the award-winning video To Lead and To Serve.
Tell us what inspires you! Where do you enjoy going in the Summer? We’d love to hear from you, and maybe you can send some inspiration our way! Who knows - maybe your story will inspire the next Tipsy Skipper signature print! Cheers!

We had a very successful three-day show at the Wianno Club in Osterville, MA. What a beautiful venue! A gorgeous club with a stunning view!
The Tipsy Skipper booth was overlooking the ocean.
And the town of Osterville is a quintisential New England town. Beautiful shops in town, and the perfect Summer destination. Check out this cutie enjoying her brand new Tipsy Toes in That's a Croc! A perfect model!
From Osterville, we headed back to Tipsy Skipper HQ in RI, and headed out first thing Saturday morning to Fisher's Island. They really know how to pack 'em in on the ferry!
The upside of a 7 am ferry is the view. It's gorgeous out on the water at the start of a hot Summer day! Check out the New London, CT lighthouse.
We set up our Tipsy Skipper booth - thanks to the help of Will! And decorated the 'Burb!
Skipper Skimmers and Captain Morgan Clutches were a hit on Fisher's Island! We had a mad rush of women wanting to check out the Tipsy Skipper products! We had a blast! Will and Kearsley have sunburns to show for it too! Then it was time to catch the ferry back to the mainland and head home for a swim!
We're crazy busy here at TS HQ, but there's always time for a swim after a long work day! Enjoy your Summer, and keep an eye out for the Swirvin' Burban haha! (Will Moger gets credit for that nickname!)
