A New England Christmas

Happy New Year!
Tipsy Skipper is one step closer to Summer, which means the release of new Summer prints and products!
December was extremely busy at TS HQ - lots of orders to ship out, and lots of monograms! Thank you for shopping a small, American business this Christmas! It was fun to play 'Santa'

Tipsy Skipper orders getting shipped off

Once the packages were shipped out, it was time for some last minute decorations. In true Tipsy Skipper fashion, Christmas needed some COLOR! We can't have xmas decorations that clash with our Skipper Skimmers

Have you ever tried floral spray paint? You can use it on fresh flowers for some added color and sparkle. The translucent glitter is the prettiest, and more subtle than the opaque paint. There's definitely an art to doing this correctly....Serious potential here!

Then it was off to Vermont for a white Christmas - there was a dusting every night!

A unique way of transporting Christmas Trees in VT... Any chance to hop on a snow mobile!

After Christmas Eve dinner at the Hermitage Inn in West Dover, VT it was time to enjoy dessert and a drink at the beautiful bar.
A Captain Morgan Clutch? How did that get there?!

And look who I found at the end of the bar -recently engaged Pete and Becky from Peter Becks Village Store in Salisbury, CT! It always pays to stay for a drink - you never know who you might run into!

Becky was one of the original team members at Vineyard Vines, and she's gone on to open a beautiful store with Pete. Stop in for great clothing and gear!

Tipsy Skipper visited Peter Becks last May
There was skiing, skating and tubing - a winter wonderland! And there was still time for a cocktail.

Morgan and Kearsley on Christmas Day. Cheers!
The view from the top bunny hill at Mt. Snow. Yes, the bunny hill....one step at a time
We made it all the way to the top of Mt. Snow....the top of the bunny hill, that is. One step at a time for this Skipper! Then, there was 'Tipsy Tubing' at the Hermitage to top off the Christmas weekend.

You may not be able to appreciate the height of this tubing half pipe. It was a long hike up, and a bumpy ride down! The guy after the Tipsy Skipper run broke his finger...rookie move!
Hopefully next time there will be more snow to smooth out the track.

So it's goodbye to VT for now, but back to designing prints and products for Tipsy Skipper! Lots of inspiration came from this trip. Time to think Summer 2012! Tipsy Skipper is headed South at the end of February - email info@tipsyskipper.com if you're interested in hosting a trunk show!
